News and Tidbits

The countdown is on to the end of May. We have had a great year and are already in the process of preparing for a new one.

Graduation time is near. Huachuca City School and Walter J. Meyer will again have a combined promotion on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. on the Tombstone High School football field. The Tombstone High School graduation is on Thursday May 23 at 7:00 p.m. on the Tombstone High School football field. Please visit our Calendar page for other end-of-year events.

Tombstone Unified School District (TUSD) welcomes online registration. This is for students new to TUSD schools. As this will be new to you, it is also new to us. Please be patient as we are learning the system as well.smile emoji

In the very near future you will be able to update your current students registration for the new school year with only a few clicks of the keyboard. Stay tuned for when this feature will be available.

ParentVue and StudentVue are important tools you can benefit from. Not only can you check you student's attendance, grades, report cards, transcripts, discipline, and nurses office visits, next year you will be able report an absence right from the app you are already using. This view gives you every access the school has on your student. Look for Synergy ParentVue in your app store on your cell, or call the school for the website to use and to get your access code.

It's scholarship time! Money is out there for the taking! College, College, College! Lots of scholarship opportunities are available now. Come to room 156 Monday through Thursdays from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. Don't let this opportunity slip away!
