2021-2022 School Year
It is with great excitement we welcome our students back in person Monday, August 2! Our new teachers begin July 28, with all staff reporting on July 29.
For the 2021–2022 school year, all TUSD students will eat for free! Yes, there will be no charge for meals at all three of our sites. Please read our food services letter for July 27, 2021, for full details. THS students, please note this is for the full meal only, and there will be a charge if ordering an a la carte item. The TUSD Food Services department will be releasing the list for those items soon. New and exciting things are coming from food services this year. Stay tuned!
Please be sure to view the 2021-2022 district calendar so you can be on top of all pertinent dates for the new year.
Parents of current students may now log into their ParentVUE account to update their student's registration. This must be done each year, and students will not be eligible to participate in activities or athletic events until it is complete. New students may register online as well.
TUSD mask usage is currently optional, we are still vigorously disinfecting and sanitizing all campuses and district vehicles.
This year TUSD will not be offering the remote education option.
THS will host Freshman and New Student Orientation on July 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at THS. All THS teachers and admin will be there, and will distribute schedules to students. Students will attend an abbreviated schedule to find their classes and meet their teachers. Also, we are serving free lunch.
WJM will host Meet the Teacher on Thursday, July 29 at 5:00 p.m. Be sure to review the WJM supply list.
HCS will host Meet the Teacher on Friday, July 30 at 5:00 p.m. Be sure to review the HCS supply list.
Be sure to check back soon for updates!
See you soon!
Annual Title I Presentation
Every year, the Arizona Department of Education requires that we share information about how we use our Title I money. This annual Title I meeting presentation explains how TUSD is serving its students and families. At the end of the presentation, you will have an opportunity to leave feedback. Thank you for participating in your child's success.
