News and Tidbits
Tombstone Unified School District is offering free weekend/holiday meals for all students. This service will begin on Friday, September 25 and go through at least December 31 (the dates are set by the USDA). Each site will have their own pick-up method. Call your school, and see our weekend/holiday meals flyer for more information.
For any tech related issues with school-issued computers (log-in problems, emails, passwords, etc.), please contact us via email. Someone from the IT Department will respond quickly. Please do not call the schools. They are unable to help solve these kinds of issues. Please include your students name and ID number, as well as the reason for needing assistance. Thank you!
TUSD Offers Free Meals
Great news! In conjunction with the USDA, Tombstone Public Schools are offering free meal kits to anyone ages 0-18 until December 31. There will be only one meal kit pick-up available per week, and this will include a meal kit for meals for the entire week. This is for curbside pick up only. Students do not need to be enrolled in Tombstone schools. This also means we will not charge students enrolled at any TUSD school for meals.
The sites for meal pick up are:
- Mondays at Walter J. Meyer school in Tombstone from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
- Mondays at Huachuca City School in Huachuca City from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Please see our latest food service letter for more information.
Free Facial Masks
The Arizona Department of Health Services is offering free facial masks. Each order contains five washable, reusable masks. One order per mailing address is available. The process is simple. Please visit the Arizona Department of Health Services, and your email, name, and mailing address is all you need to complete. Please share the word.

Click on the online registration link, click more options, then create an account. You can do the complete registration with some strokes of the keyboard. You can also upload any documentation you need to provide. Once this is done and we accept your student, you will have a ParentVue account. Save your username and password. You can log in at any time and see your student's current grades (including a peek into the actual grade book to see how your student is progressing), report cards/transcripts (when it is time), attendance in real-time (you can even get alerts when we enter in attendance), change contact or personal information, report an absence, and see health office visits or discipline issues. You will also have access to any information regarding the school. If you have an existing student and do not have a ParentVue account, please contact your school.
