Food Service Change
TUSD will be changing its curbside pick-up days and times. Friday, August 28, 2020, will be the last day for our normal five days a week curbside pick-up. As a continued commitment to providing nutritious meals to our students, we will be transitioning to a once a week pick-up that will begin on Monday, August 31, 2020. Food Service Plan
The 2020–2021 school year is going to be a very fluid and rapidly changing year. With this, the Food Service Department is going to be working diligently to provide food services throughout our district that not only meet and exceed the state and federal standards for the National School Lunch Program. In providing these standards we have put together a food service plan for each school site individually. This plan has been put together with all CDC guidance in mind to help mitigate the impact that COVID-19 will have on how we operate and function in our program this year. It has been made in conjunction with the district food service director, site administrators, and our food service management company, A’Vaiands.
With the approval of in-person learning at the recent board meeting, Friday, August 14 will be the last day that we will be delivering food via buses at any of our sites within the district. We will, however, be offering curbside to any and all currently enrolled students at our schools. It is important to understand that any student can pick up food at any of our sites. That means that high school students that live in Huachuca City can pick up their meals at the elementary school.

Join Us for a Healthy Lunch
Students may bring their lunch or eat a hot lunch in the cafeteria. We also welcome visitors to join us during our lunch hour. Parents may place an order for a hot lunch by calling the cafeteria office at each school early in the morning of the planned visit. Please drop off lunches or lunch money in your child's school office.

If your child forgets his or her lunch or lunch money, Tombstone Unified School District will provide a sandwich and milk. We will extend this courtesy up to three times during the school year.
MySchoolBucks allows you to prepay for your child's school breakfast, lunch, and a la carte items online using your credit or debit card.
Through this service, you can monitor your cafeteria purchases, receive email notifications for low account balances, set spending limits, and place limits on purchases.
